New Omni Bank Announces 2026 Scholarship Recipients

Key Takeaway

Fifteen Students, One Shared Opportunity

In December, we shared New Omni Bank’s renewed $20,000 commitment to the New Omni Bank Scholarship Program, presented in partnership with the Asian Pacific Community Fund. Today, we’re proud to introduce the students behind that commitment: the 15 recipients of the 2026 New Omni Bank Scholarship.

Each recipient receives a $1,000 scholarship as they prepare to begin their college careers this fall, with New Omni Bank’s broader contribution also supporting APCF’s outreach and administrative efforts to ensure the program reaches the students who need it most.

Meet the 2026 Scholars

This year’s recipients come from across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties and are headed to universities across the country—from campuses close to home in Southern California to Northern California, Boston, New York, and Florida.

A Second Year of Partnership

“Seeing these thank-you notes from students across all three counties is a reminder of why this program exists,” said Leon Sung, Managing Director and CRA Officer at New Omni Bank. “Every one of these students worked hard to get here, and we are glad to help clear one more hurdle on their way to college.”
